Dedication

Through your gracious hospitality your home has been our rendevous — Through your sympathetic guidance our
problems have been solved — Through your enthuastic interest many of our ambitions have been realized — Through
your genuine dedication to us and our welfare you have always gone the second mile in our behalf.

Because of all of these and more, we proudly dedicate this book to you — MRS, MOSER.

FDIl^lMISTFFTICI^i

Our administration and faculty are the engineers
assigned to Operation Education. The classroom is
the launching pad from which we, the students, shall
arise on our journey into the future. The chalk and
board, the pencil and paper, and the textbook con-
stitute the technical apparatuses. The examination,
roll book, and record sheet furnish data for the count
down. Words and ideas are the propellants which
will send us on our way as we each seek our own in-
dividual orbits.

The Class of '59

In his eternal search for knowledge and truth, man has begun his exploration of outer
space. Perhaps in our own lifetime, man himself may journey in the great unknown beyond
the earth's atmosphere. As we, the senior class of 1959, approach the end of our high
school days, we too face a great unknown — the future. As we prepare for our journey, we
experience some of the same feelings of anticipation, suspense, and awe that will confront
the first space man as he prepares for his journey. Thus we choose for the 1959 EAGLE our
theme — Outer Space.

Class Motto

Choose wisely; for happiness lies largely in your own
choice.

The count-down has been completed; the launch-
ing has taken place. The world of study and pre-
paration will soon fade far away into the past as we,
now in our final stage, continue on our way to find
our orbit. The universe of the future awaits us, the
Senior Class of 1959. It is ours to explore and to
conquer.

Our rocket into the Space Age is on its way. There
is much yet to be accomplished, many minute tasks
to be performed; but our plans have been made, our
course has been charted, and our goal is in view.
The class of 1960 also aims toward the future.

In the great undertxikings and tremendous achieve-
ments of the modern age, teamwork i s essential.
The highly technical and complex nature of man's
future accomplishments will be too great for indi-
viduals to achieve. Such projects will call for the
blending of many talents and the harmony of many
minds. Perhaps nothing in our education prepares us
for the necessity of cooperation and team work as does
our athletic program.

In our busy preparations for embarking upon our
journey into the Space Age, we are reminded Lhat we
must not forsake those traditions and specia' events
in our past. . . As we journey through the future, there
will be times when a backward glance will help us
keep our course and encourage us forward. . It is to
the memory of such precious traditions and treasured
moments of our school days that this sectiop of oui
yearbook is dedicated. . .
